Egypt: Aswan and surroundings
Aswan, located 81 miles south of Luxor, is Egypt´s sunniest southern city. The city is small enough to walk arround and graced with the most beautiful setting on the Nile, and the pace of life is slow and relaxing. For a long time, Aswan was the country´s gateway to Africa. The Nile is very huge at Aswan because of the massive High Dam and Lake Nasser. Watching the feluccas glide by as the sun sets over the Nile is an experience you never will forget.
