Lithuania: Curonian Spit
The Curonian Spit is a 98 km long, thin sand dune peninsula that separates the Curonian Lagoon from the Baltic Sea. We stayed there during our summer holidays 2006 and enjoyed it a lot. The landscape is unspoiled and the architecture is preserved and unique. And the best of all: it is etreme quiet and relaxed.
