Lithuania: Trakai
Trakai is a small city in south-eastern Lithuania about 29 km from Vilnius. The city was the ancient capital of Lithuania and is one of the oldest settlements of the country. A lot of people come to visit Trakai, because it is famous for two things. The insular castle and the marvellous landscape around the city. Besides the cultural highlights is another ethnographical one - the last members of the Karaites (Karaimes) nation reside at Trakai city.
