Lithuania: Vilnius - the capital
The capital city of Lithuania is Vilnius. It is the biggest city of the country and it is the main tourist destination of Lithuania. Although vilnius is the capital city, it is a very green city with huge parks and trees everywhere. Vilnius is a world heritage city because of its fantastic preserved huge old town. To step through this old town is something like walking centuries back. Churches can be found at nearly every corner - some of them are among the most beautiful in eastern Europe.
