Myanmar: Banknotes

The currency in Myanmar is the Kyat (pronounced chat). When arriving at the airport, you (usually) have to exchange 200 U.S.$ to FEC's (Foreign Exchange Certificates), a kind of Monopoly money. Hotels, guesthouses, government transports like trains and tourist shops can be paid with FEC. One FEC is worth one dollar. The pictures show some of the mostly used notes.
