  Myanmar: Around Mandalay

The city of Mandalay is not only good for a city trip. The surroundings of Mandalay are worth visiting, too. For example there are some ancient cities with a lot of interesting buildings. On the other hand, you could make some fascinating jungle trips. And last but not least I would recommend everybody to rent a bicycle to explore the small villages around Mandalay.
