Vietnam: Hanoi and Halong Bay
Hanoi is the capital city of Vietnam. It is smaller, quieter, greener and more dignified than Saigon. Especially at the center you will find a lot of enchanting lakes and famous temples. The botanical garden is worth for a visit, too.
After a three hours ride from Hanoi the traveller will arrive at magnificent Halong Bay. It´s unquestionable the greatest attraction in Vietnam and is listed at the world´s natural heritage. The about 3000 islands are rising from the clear, emerald waters. Nearly everybody is taking a boat trip through the bay visiting some islands, grottoes and beaches. A absolutly overwhelming thing is the sunset at Halong Bay. In whole Vietnam you will not find a sunset more romantic and picturesque than at Halong Bay.
