Vietnam: Central Vietnam
If you start from Saigon direct to Hanoi, you will reach the varied part of the country. The traveller can choose beetween relaxing at the beach at the South Chinese Sea or visiting ruins which are telling stories of old and famous cultures.
About 400 Km after Saigon you will reach Nha Trang. The city is famous for the most beautiful beach in Vietnam. But it´s still a very quite city and worth for a 2-3 day stay.
If you header to the interior you will arrive at Dalat in the Southern Highlands region. The city was founded by the Frech in 1885 as a cool, green city with a park-like environment. Ecspeccially the coffee shows of Dalat are very popular. On the way to Dalat you can find some very interesting Cham Towers.
The next station on our trip is Hoi An. The city, which was called Faifa in the 18th century, was declared to a world culture heritage by the Unesco. Its magnificent collection of almost 850 older structures and intact streetscapes just beg to be explored.
The most beautiful city in Vietnam is Hué. It was the capital of the country for almoust 150 years. The perfume river runs through Hué, and everybody staying there should take a boat trip on it. Hue was the residence of the royal dynasties, and around the city you can find the royal tombs.
