Poland: Krakow

The city of Krakow is called the "Munich of Poland". But that is not the only reason for a visit in this marvellous city. It is the fourth largest city in Poland and lies in the southeast of the country. Krakow has one of the best-preserved medieval cities in Europe. You will find dozens of churches covering almost every architectural period and the Main Market Square is one of the largest in Europe. Above all is the Wawel Hill, which is the home of the magic Wawel Castle, the seat of Polish kings for nearly six hundred years. Last but not least the night life of Krakow is very busy - pubs can be found at nearly every corner.
